1:1 SEN Support Teaching Assistant (M12)

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a client primary school in the Gorton area of Manchester (M12) who are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a child in year 3 with Special Educational needs. The child has academic and physical needs and requires 1:1 support on a full time basis. The role is to work in a lovely, one form entry primary school in Gorton and the role will start in September. The role will run for the full academic year with a view to going permanent for the right person.

The Head Teacher is looking for a compassionate Teaching Assistant who will be dedicated to ensuring all the childs needs are met. The school has a warm and friendly ethos with a strong community feel so the school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will be happy to get involved in all aspects of school life.

As the childs needs are severe, the school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has worked with children with specific special needs before. Moving and handling experience would be beneficial but isn't essential and training will be provided for the successful candidate.
