Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic specialist autism school in Totton, offering a unique opportunity to join a small, supportive team making a real difference every day.

We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Learning Support Assistant to join on a full-time, term-time basis—perfect for someone who wants a rewarding role where no two days are the same.

This welcoming school supports just 20–25 students aged 11–19, giving you the chance to build strong, meaningful relationships and provide truly personalised support.

The Role:
You’ll work closely with students on a 1:1 basis, helping them engage in learning, build confidence, and overcome challenges. You’ll be part of a supportive team, creating a calm and structured environment where students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) can thrive.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Confident, resilient, and calm under pressure
• Patient, caring, and genuinely passionate about supporting young people
• Comfortable working 1:1 with students aged 11–19
• Committed to making a positive, lasting impact

Experience in SEND or similar roles is helpful, but not essential, your attitude and approach are what matter most.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
