Learning Support Assistants & Teaching Assistants Needed
Location: Totton & Dibden, Hampshire
Pay: £14.20 per hour
Hours: Full-Time - Term Time Only

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming schools in the Totton and Dibden area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to support children and young people in education, whether you are experienced or looking to begin a career in schools.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students both in and out of the classroom. Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to students

  • Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities

  • Supporting students with their learning, development, and engagement

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and social development

You may work with students across a variety of age groups and needs, including those with additional learning needs such as SEND.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Positive, patient, and supportive in their approach

  • Confident working with children and young people

  • Reliable and committed to full-time, term-time work

  • Strong communicators with a proactive attitude

  • Passionate about making a difference in education

Experience in schools, childcare, youth work, or care settings is beneficial, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
