1:1 Functional Skills Tutor – Flexible Hours | Make a Real Difference!

Position: Functional Skills Tutor (1:1 Tuition)
Location: Nottingham (NG2 and surrounding areas)

About the Role:

As a 1:1 Functional Skills Tutor, you’ll work closely with students to deliver engaging and personalised tuition in Maths and/or English, helping them build confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience teaching Functional Skills Maths and/or English

  • A recognised teaching or tutoring qualification

  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong rapport with learners

  • A flexible, student-centred approach to teaching

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
