Teaching Personnel are actively working over the summer holidays to help support schools with their recruitment for the start of the next academic year. A 1 form entry Roman Catholic Primary school in Central Manchester is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis as a behaviour buddy for a pupil in year 3. The role will be on a full time basis and will start in the first week of September for the full academic year.

The school is looking for someone to help support a Pupil in year 3 both inside and outside of the classroom. The pupil is none threatening or aggressive, they just need extra support during school times and with them making the leap from Key Stage 1 (KS1) to Key Stage 2 (KS2) the school is looking to maximise the support for the pupil in order to give them the best support to succeed this academic year. The role will involve helping the pupil on a 1:1 basis with reading, writing and maths as well as other areas where support may benefit the pupil. As well as support within the classroom the child will need support on break time and dinner times in order to develop socially and help make friends with classmates.

The school recently graded "good" by Ofsted has achieved excellent core subject's result over the last few years. Through excellent teaching and support from senior leaders the pupils at the school receive the best support they possibly can within the school. The school are looking for someone who will fit in with the school identity and integrate into the school well. An Enthusiastic and well driven individual is what the school are looking for.
