Do you want to positively influence the lives of young people?
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a pupil referral unit that cater for young people with social and emotional difficulties in Chichester. The school is seeking to recruit youth workers to help support the children with their learning. The school believe youth workers have the engaging personality to help support these young people. In this role, the youth worker will be expected to work both in school and around the local community to provide personalised support for the young people.
The ideal youth worker for this role will have a background in youth work and will therefore have the knowledge and ability to manage challenging behaviour in a way which still produces positive outcomes. Having a relevant qualification such as a youth and community work degree will also enhance your application.
Work type will include working term time only, on a day to day basis with flexible hours. There is the opportunity for permanent employment for suitable candidates.
This particular post may occasionally require successful applicants to drive to locations with a passenger. Therefore a full driving license with business insurance would be necessary in some cases. Full advice on this can be offered upon application.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
