Youth Worker - Oldham - Flexible working hours - ASAP Start
Teaching Personnel are working alongside a number of schools in Oldham who require a Youth Worker to come in to the school on a flexible basis to work alongside a number of pupils who have been recognised as showing signs of challenging behaviour and requiring additional support. Due to the nature of this role there are flexible working hours available, meaning you can work around your current schedule on a basis that suits you.
- Flexible working hours available as a Youth Worker, working within a number of secondary schools in the Oldham area, supporting pupils on a 1:1 and group basis.
- Opportunity to earn a weekly wage where you will get paid up to £70 a day, dependent on your experience and responsibilities.
- Work within a variety of schools in the Oldham area dependent on the needs of the pupils and your schedule.
- Further develop your CV and skill set through Teaching Personnel's CPD courses.
As a Youth Worker you will work alongside pupils on a 1:1 and group basis as you encourage them to further engage with mainstream education and reduce the risk of engagement with alcohol, drugs and gangs. Due to the nature of this role a strong knowledge of safeguarding is required a well as a real passion for improving the lives of young people. A fully enhanced 'child-only' DBS is also required before you will be cleared for work.
