Youth Worker

Opportunity to support children and young people at risk of exclusion who require additional support to reach their full potential.

• Full-time Youth Worker.
• Required from September 2020 on an ongoing basis.
• Large secondary school in Bolton.
• Earn up to GBP350 per month, paid weekly.

Our client school is based in Bolton and has around 950 pupils on roll. The school can be accessed via the M62 and A580 and via several forms of public transport with links to Bury, Worsley and Swinton.

Working as a Youth Worker, you will be expected to incorporate inventions to aid the student’s learning and behaviour with the hopes of raising their progress and attainment. You will be assisting students in small groups within the classroom and on a 1:1 basis when they are withdrawn from the classroom. All work will be pre-set by the class teacher.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience of working with children and young people previously.. Any direct experience in youth work, social work or supporting young people with challenging behaviour will be highly beneficial but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
