• Flexible hours available, working on a schedule that suits you, on a part time or full time basis dependent on the needs of the pupils involved

• Get paid on a weekly basis up to £350 a week, dependent on your experience and qualifications and the responsibilities of the job

We are working in close partnership with a number of schools in Manchester, providing specialist targeted support to challenged young people, helping them with any issues they may have and working as a role model to encourage them to further engage with education and develop into outstanding members of the community. this is a very rewarding job where every day is different as you have the opportunity to work with a number of different challenged young people whether this is on a 1:1 or group basis or if it is within their own homes, as well as having the opportunity to work in a number off different schools in the Manchester area.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Supporting young people both inside and outside of school, encouraging greater social interaction with others and promoting positive behaviour in an attempt to reduce the risk of engaging with smoking, drugs, gangs, violence, and bullying
• Regularly monitor the progress of the pupils that you are working with and putting new provisions in place to increase their progress into established members of the community
• Run activities for the pupils, whether this is within the school or outside the school, for example encouraging further engagement in arts-based activities, community/environmental projects, residential activities, outdoor education and sporting activities
• Work alongside the pupils parents as well as their teachers and giving feedback of improvements and working together to support the young person involved
