Tutor – Durham | Inspire, Support & Make a Difference

Location: Durham
Hours: Flexible, Part-Time | Monday to Friday, During School Hours
Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate

We're looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Tutors to provide 1:1 personalised tuition to learners across Durham. The Role

As a Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition.
  • Adapt lessons to suit each learner's individual needs and learning style.
  • Support pupils to improve their confidence, knowledge, and academic progress.
  • Build positive relationships with learners, families, and education professionals.
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate session records.

What We're Looking For

✔ Experience teaching or tutoring children and young people
✔ Strong subject knowledge in one or more core subjects
✔ Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
✔ A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
