Location: Caerphilly
Hours: Full-Time | Term Time Only | Monday–Friday, 08:30 – 15:00
Pay: £110 per day
Start Date: 10th of November 2025

Are you confident, active, and ready to take charge?
We’re looking for strong role models who know how to lead from the front — people who bring energy, discipline, and presence into the classroom. Whether you’re a sports coach, PE enthusiast, youth worker, or someone who thrives on teamwork and challenge, this is your chance to make a real difference.

About the School

You’ll be joining a lively, inclusive secondary school in Caerphilly, full of character and potential. The staff team is welcoming, positive, and always looking for colleagues who can bring structure, motivation, and a bit of healthy competitiveness to the school day.

Your Role

As a Youth Support Worker, you’ll combine leadership, mentoring, and classroom control to create a focused, positive learning environment.
Every day is different — but your job is simple: set the tone, keep standards high, and inspire students to achieve.

You’ll:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons (no planning stress — just lead and engage)
  • Keep lessons calm, focused, and under control with your natural authority
  • Motivate and guide students who need extra structure or encouragement
  • Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to support behaviour and wellbeing
  • Lead by example — bringing teamwork, respect, and resilience into every class

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who’s:

  • Confident, assertive, and able to command attention
  • A natural leader who connects with young people through respect and consistency
  • Cool under pressure — calm, collected, and quick-thinking
  • Energetic, adaptable, and always up for a challenge
  • Experienced in (or eager to gain experience in) sport, coaching, youth work, or behaviour support
  • DBS-checked (or happy to apply)

If you’ve ever managed a sports team, led youth sessions, or thrived in fast-paced environments — you already have the mindset we need.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Work in supportive schools across Caerphilly
  • Enjoy a great work–life balance — weekdays only, term time, consistent hours
  • Build real career foundations in:
    • Teaching or SEN support
    • Behaviour & Pastoral Leadership
    • Educational Psychology or Youth Work
  • Access specialist training & qualifications in:
    • Positive Behaviour Management
    • Safeguarding & Child Protection
    • SEND & Thrive Approach
    • TeamTeach & Cover Supervisor Certification

Bring your energy. Bring your authority. Bring your game.
If you’re confident, driven, and ready to lead — we want you on our team!
