Year 6 - Teaching Assistant - Rochdale

This Rochdale based school is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support their Year 6 class. The individual will need to be able to identify each child's differences and unique talents in order to then tailor their approach, to ensure they are able to get the most out of every child.

The school has an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating and a 'culture of excellence' lies at the heart of it. The Head teacher is ambitious and determined and encourages this throughout the school, from the staff to the pupils. The strong culture of support and development within the school uplifts the staff and is the main contributor to the high staff morale.

The pupils are very well behaved and are proud to be a part of the school. They are very respectful to staff and each other and are perceptive learners who are very well prepared for the next stage of their education.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification and experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils. They will need to guide and monitor pupil progress and there is an expectation to get stuck in and provide help as and when it's needed.
