Supporting Maths, English and SPAG intervention groups

Key Stage 2 SATS support

A primary school in the little hulton area of Swinton, Salford, M27 are looking to recruit a year 6 teaching assistant from January or ASAP, the role of year 6 teaching assistant would be to go on for the rest of the academic year. As a year 6 teaching assistant, you would be working with small groups of children in year 6 to support them in their SATS examinations. As a result, there would be a big focus on Maths, English and SPAG in particular. If you have experience supporting with Maths, English and SPAG within a primary school or secondary school previously, you would be welcomed to apply.

This Swinton, Salford based primary school are also keen to hear from aspiring teachers of the future who might be looking for school based experience before completing teacher training. As a result, the incoming year 6 teaching assistant could be a graduate of English, Maths or equivalent.

The ideal candidate:

  • Maths, English and SPAG in Year 6
  • English and Maths Graduates
  • Previous Intervention Experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Primary School or Secondary School Experience
  • Team player with open attitude to learning
  • £13,500 - £18,000 pro rata
