Are you a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant, with experience working with children in an Educational setting? Would you like to work in an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding school? Are you available to start working on a full time basis after the Easter break?

Teaching Personnel are working closely with this Rochdale based school, they are looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time, long term basis. The school have placed a key focus on raising attainment, in reading and spelling in particular and have identified the groups with the greatest requirement. The successful candidate will be working with small groups from both Year 6 classes and will need to be comfortable working with small groups and also possibly on a 1:1 basis.

This is a two-form school with an excellent support system which has been established by the ambitious head teacher. Staff morale is incredibly high because there is a strong culture of support and development which is beneficial to all staff members. Pupils are highly motivated and self-disciplined learners and have very positive attitudes to their learning. Generally, pupils' attainment has risen dramatically over recent years and they typically achieve higher standards than others nationally, including disadvantaged pupils. However a handful of Year 6 children do require extra support and that is there you come in.

Please apply if you:

  • Have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Have prior experience working with Children in an Educational Setting
  • Are passionate about Education
  • Are available for work after the Easter break

The school is easily accessible via M62/ A663.
