Year 6 Teacher

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Year 6 Teachers to work across Primary Schools in the Solihull District. We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable KS2 teachers who are willing to support Year 6 students academically.

As a Year 6 teacher you will be expected to:

- Plan creative & engaging lessons and deliver the Year 6 curriculum to the class.

- Monitor record and report the attainment, development, and progress of the students.

- Work alongside the senior leadership tea, to raise attainment

-Develop and establish a rapport between students, parents and other staff to build a trusting relationship and line of communication between the home and school.

The ideal candidate will:

-Hold a QTS or equivalent

-Have experience in a year 6 classroom

-Understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs expectations

-Strong leadership and behaviour management skills

- Be familiar with safeguarding policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
