  • - A passionate and committed teacher who holds QTS and is keen to help children progress
  • - A teacher who is looking to fully integrate themselves into the school and local community
  • - An outgoing and friendly teacher with a good sense of humour

About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate Primary Teacher to start in January at a centrally based Manchester school. The school has worked with Teaching Personnel for a number of years and is one of our most popular schools amongst both our long term and short term teachers. Applications from teachers across the key stages are welcomed as the school remains committed to finding the right teacher to fit into their school community.

Year groups will be discussed with the successful applicant following the interview process. The position will begin on January 3rd 2017 and a handover period can take place in December provided you have suitable availability. The role will be long term until the end of the academic year and has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

About the School

The school benefits from a fantastic central location and is accessible. It is located a stones throw away from the nearest tram stop. In a recent OFSTED inspection the school was judged to be ‘Good’ and has recently undergone a £2 million renovation to the school building. The successful applicant will also gain from having plenty of access to brand new teaching resources and the school even provide a free lunch for their teachers!

Being a 2 form entry school means that you will have the opportunity to share planning ideas and resources with a colleague and you will also have the backing of a supportive senior leadership team. In the schools recent OFSTED report behaviour of the children was graded as ‘Outstanding’ and you will be responsible for a class of children who are eager to learn. Career progression remains a distinct possibility for teachers who are looking to take on addition responsibilities.
