A 3 form entry Primary School located in the Beeston area of Leeds (LS11) has contacted Teaching Personnel in search of a Year 6 teacher to start at the school as soon as possible until at least the end of the winter term (December 2020). This post will be covering a long-term sickness and may be extended into 2021. If you are available full-time and have experience teaching Year 6 in preparation for KS2 SATs then see below for more details!

The school are in need of a Year 6 teacher as one of their other teachers is unable to return this year. The school is a 3 form entry primary school that received GOOD in their last Ofsted. The Head has been at school for the last 10 years and in this time has maintained a largely consistent staff base as it is a pleasant and welcoming place to work.

This role would involve settling in and immediately beginning preparation ahead of the KS2 SATs which are expected to run as normal next year. Ideally the candidate would be a teacher with experience in preparing for and administering KS2 SATs, with in-depth knowledge of the curriculum and a track record of raising attainment. The school also have aspirations of one day being graded as OUTSTANDING by Ofsted and to do this must improve on pushing the higher attaining students further. Therefore, any experience teaching in an Outstanding school with impressive results would be valuable. The school will only be accepting fully qualified teachers for this position, rather than NQTs.
