'Good' Primary School
Full-time, long-term position - possibility to become a permanent member of staff
NQT's encouraged to apply
Teaching Personnel have been approached by a popular Bacup Primary School who are looking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher to start after the February half term. The Headteacher is looking to interview as soon as possible and is open to applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers. The post will run for the rest of the whole school year. The role has emerged due to the Year 6 Teacher taking leave with immediate effect. With the SATS up and coming, the head has decided to temporarily move the year 5 teacher into year 6, which creates the gap in year 5.
The incoming Year 5 Teacher will enjoy the benefits of working in a 'Good' popular Primary School on the outskirts of the Bacup town centre. When the pupils join the school in the EYFS stage the levels are usually well below what is typical for their age, however when they leave in Year 6 results are generally above average, with a majority progressing onto the local Grammar schools.
The behaviour in school is good and the pupils are polite, well mannered and welcoming, exclusions are unheard of. Teachers enjoy coming into school because behaviour is exemplary and attendance is good, in addition the support from senior leaders is constant and evident. The school was described by one parent as an 'asset to its community' and it has successful working relationships with numerous local groups and organisations.
I urge all Teachers interested in this position to please get in touch. Either give me a call on 01772 842 154 or e-mail me; - In addition you can view all our current vacancies and register with ourselves online at http://www.teachingpersonnel.com/register
