Year 5 Teacher needed to work Part Time (East Lancashire)

- Experience required in the delivery of Maths and English at KS2 Level.

An 'Outstanding' school as graded by Ofsted, are looking for a dedicated Teacher who has good experience working in UKS2, to join their team part time. The role consists of working 2 full days, which are yet to be finalised by the school. The position is part time due to the current Year 5 Teacher wanting a reduction of hours after coming back from Maternity leave.

The Practitioner is required to have an excellent knowledge of the National curriculum and be confident in delivering and planning good quality lessons. The Head Teacher has stated that the school sets high standards and the suitable Teacher must have had experience with 'Ofsted' and understand what makes an 'Outstanding' school to maintain reputation.

To apply you must hold;

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Experience working in a UKS2 class and have recent references to support your application
  • Have good availability in February and for the rest of the year in order to take up the role

The school is an average sized school but the Head Teacher commented that the behaviour and attainment of the pupils is 'Wonderful' and she is looking forward to bringing in a spirited and hard working Teacher to join their 'Welcoming and warm team'. The Head Teacher also noted that the pupils are 'Willing to learn' and she wants to employ someone to bring fun into the classroom but giving children 'The tools they need to learn and grow'.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £100-£130 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
