I am working with the headteacher of a Primary School located in the HD4 area who are seeking an enthusiastic and driven teacher for a year 5 class. The position will be Part-Time starting in September 2022 working the first three days of the week (Monday – Wednesday). This position is initially Part-Time but will also have the opportunity to go full time with the right candidate in the next academic year. The successful candidate will take the lead responsibility for the class, joint teaching with another member of staff.

The school are looking for a teacher that is able to inspire and create a sense of enjoyment within the classroom, as well as work smoothly in tandem with their other teacher who is reducing their hours down to two days a week. The school has a heavy focus on community, getting involved in charity efforts within the wider community area.

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ECTs will be considered.
  • Have experience delivering the Upper KS2 curriculum.
  • Be enthusiastic and create exciting and engaging lessons.
  • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Be able to provide two up to date education references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
