Year 5 Teacher

Location:

Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds,LS11.

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

£135 - £185 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to Year 5 children
  • Assess and evaluate pupil progress to provide feedback and support
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupils development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Year 5 pupils is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Effective classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with EAL (English as an Additional Language) students

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school setting, following school hours and term dates. Some additional hours may be required for planning and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
