Job Title: Year 5 Primary Teacher

Location: Birmingham

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £130 - £170 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for primary school students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation
  • Collaborate with parents, colleagues and other stakeholders to support student development
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant degree in Education or related field
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Proven experience teaching primary school students
  • Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong classroom management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good understanding of child development principles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

  • Regular working hours with some flexibility required for extracurricular activities and meetings
  • Classroom-based teaching with occasional outdoor and off-site activities
