Role

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Fully Qualified or Newly Qualified Teacher for a full-time teaching post starting in the new academic year (October 2018) to cover a long-term sickness. The school is located in Leeds (Hunslet) LS11 just 10 minutes away from the Leeds City Centre. Public transport route are also easily accessible to the school. The school are looking for a Year 5 Teacher who can support under achieving pupils in KS2 for a long-term post.

Ideal candidate

The school are looking for a:

  • Fully qualified or Newly qualified teacher who has recent experience teaching in KS2
  • SATs experience (not compulsory)
  • Available full-time in September
  • Current DBS

School

The school received 'Good' at its last Ofsted in 2018 and last year received above 59% in the SATs across the entire school. Reading is a subject which KS2 struggle with and the school are looking for a teacher who is confident in delivering Reading to KS2 pupils. The school have roughly 372 pupils and have a small amount of SEN pupils in school.

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.

These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional and Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People.
