Year 5 Class Teacher

Role

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Fully Qualified or Newly Qualified Teacher for a full-time teaching post starting in the new academic year (October 2018) to cover a long-term sickness. The school is located in Leeds (Hunslet) LS11 just 10 minutes away from the Leeds City Centre. Public transport route are also easily accessible to the school. The school are looking for a Year 5 Teacher who can support under achieving pupils in KS2 for a long-term post.

Ideal candidate

The school are looking for a:

• Fully qualified or Newly qualified teacher who has recent experience teaching in KS2
• SATs experience (not compulsory)
• Available full-time in September
• Current DBS

School

The school received 'Good' at its last Ofsted in 2018 and last year received above 59% in the SATs across the entire school. Reading is a subject which KS2 struggle with and the school are looking for a teacher who is confident in delivering Reading to KS2 pupils. The school have roughly 372 pupils and have a small amount of SEN pupils in school.
