Teaching Personnel are working alongside a client primary school in the Denton area of Tameside (M34) who is looking for a full time, KS2 teaching assistant to join their staffing team on a full time basis as soon as possible. Due to a change in staffing, the school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support across one of the schools Year 4 classes on a full time basis. The head teacher and senior leaders of the school are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who has recent experience in an academic environment and is looking to develop their career in education. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, well organised, and will have prior experience working with children in an educational capacity.

The role is to work in a 'GOOD' Tameside primary school which 'celebrates diversity' and encourages children to constantly 'strive for successes'. The school boasts a happy working environment where children are praised for their achievements and are recognised for their efforts. The school are looking for a positive Teaching Assistant who will bring optimism and energy and an enthusiastic working attitude. The successful applicant will work closely alongside the class teacher and will encourage learning by delivering small intervention groups and supporting children on a 1:1 basis where necessary.

This is a full time post which will start as soon as possible.. You are encouraged to apply if:
