Year 4 teacher Salford (M30)

Long term, full time position.

£125 - £160 a day dependent on experience

A Roman Catholic Primary School in Eccles, Salford are looking for a year 4 teacher to cover a long term sickness.

The role will be working in Key Stage 2 department in the year 4 class. This is a full time position looking to start in October for the rest of the academic year. There is a high possibility the teacher being covered will be taking early retirement so there is a view for the position to become permanent for the right teacher.

The Salford school is a one form entry. Pupils are provided with many memorable learning experiences through a rich and inclusive curriculum where everyone is included and respected. The Catholic faith is driven through the school ethos, and as such the school are looking to recruit a Teacher of the Catholic Faith or holds the Certificate of Catholic Religious Studies who can lead this with their pupils but this is not essential.

The Salford primary school has been graded 'Good' by OFSTED and is now striving to become an Outstanding' school in the near future. As such they are looking for a Teacher who is not only looking for a school they want to build their career at, but one where they can be nurtured and developed in to Outstanding practitioners. The supportive Headteacher is happy for NQTs to apply with interviews set to take place week commencing 8th October, you will need to act fast to be considered for this role. If you are looking for your first Teaching role in a Catholic School with a drive to reach Outstanding status then this could be the role for you.

Being a practising Catholic or holding a CCRS is not essential but would be beneficial. But the successful candidate would be expected to uphold the Catholic Ethos.
