Year 4 Teacher – Durham

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a committed and creative Year 4 Teacher to join a two form entry school that are working towards improving their delivery of lessons in order to raise attainment. The Head teacher boasts high expectations of learning which has lead to the requirement for an individual to begin in March to cover a Maternity Leave within a class of 35 pupils. Based in Durham, the School were recently marked ‘Good’ in their Ofsted report and have an extremely supportive team who are very welcoming of new staff. Located close to local transportation links (Bus) the School is easily accessible and also offers free car parking.

Essentials:

• UK recognised QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
• Eligible to work in the UK (right to work in the UK documentation)

Details of role:

• Teaching a Year 4 Class of 35 pupils with one Teaching Assistant
• Full class teaching role - full time 
• Maternity post until December 2020
• Work in partnership with other teachers and professional agencies to provide effective learning activities
