Year 4 Teacher

Colne Primary school require a year 4 Teacher to cover a long term secondment

• Experience delivering within Year 4 and excellent classroom references would be desirable
• Opportunity to secure yourself a longer term/permanent position within a East Lancashire Primary School.
• A track record of raising attainment is a necessity in KS2

A Head Teacher from a Primary school in Colne has approached me in order to source a year 4 Teacher to start after the October half term and run initially to the Easter break. The reason for the cover is due to a Teacher being seconded over to another local school to take up a deputy role. The school is easily accessible from the M65 and has good public transport links.

The school is larger than average and has a mixed catchment area, mainly children who are white British attend the school, with a small percentage of eastern European pupils. Experience of providing English as an additional language support would be desirable. The new Head teacher is looking to cover a gap in staffing without much disruption and so the appointment must be a success. In order for this, the Head teacher has declared that she just wants to secure the right person for the role and therefore is open to both fully & newly qualified teachers applying, as long as recent experience working in lower key stage 2 has been adhered to.
