Job Title: Year 4 Teacher - Euxton

Location: North West England, Lancashire, Euxton

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £150 - £200 Per day

Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to Year 4 students in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and senior leadership
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant degree in Education or related field
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and educational best practises

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with Year 4 students

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Temporary contract with the possibility of extension
  • Collaborative work environment with support from senior leadership and colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
