Year 4 Class Teacher

Location: Prestwich (M25)

Start Date: Tuesday 1st September 2026

End Date: Wednesday 21st July 2027

Hours: Full-Time

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and nurturing primary school in the Radcliffe area, seeking a committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to make a meaningful impact across the KS2 curriculum.

About the Role

You will take responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupils’ academic progress and personal development. The ideal teacher will be confident in delivering the KS2 curriculum, able to foster a positive classroom environment, and passionate about helping pupils thrive.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum

· Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where needed

· Provide targeted support to pupils of varying abilities

· Work closely with colleagues, including SEN staff and subject leads

· Create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment

· Maintain strong communication with parents and carers

What We’re Looking For

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

· Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 preferred but not essential)

· Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements

· Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

· Ability to differentiate learning to support all pupils
