Year 3 Teaching Assistant needed- Oldham Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a primary school in the Oldham area (OL4) who is looking to appoint a full time, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their staffing team. This role is to start ASAP and will be a long term, on-going supply contract. This ‘outstanding’ school is looking for a teaching assistant to support pupils in a lovely year 3 class. The right applicant must have recent experience, be dedicated and will want to develop their career in education. The ideal teaching assistant will be educated to degree level and will have experience working with children in an educational setting. This average sized primary school is part of a large primary academy trust. It celebrates diversity and the behaviour of the pupils is ‘outstanding’. The school is known for its excellent reputation and the students make great progress due to the stimulating environment. It is known to have a happy environment where children are praised for their achievements. The students are friendly and eager to learn. Staff within the school are constantly supported and are encouraged to develop their careers. The school is looking for a teaching assistant who will bring optimism and a positive working attitude. The successful applicant will work alongside the teacher and will encourage all students. They will deliver small intervention groups and support students on a 1:1 and small group basis, if needed.
