SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are proud to announce our official partnership with the Liverpool Archdiocese and its 230 schools, delivering a bespoke service with high quality staffing. Our Liverpool branch is currently seeking experienced teaching assistants to work within a number of our primary client schools due to high demand for roles from Easter and September.

With this in mind, I am working alongside a ‘Good’ Catholic School who have recently amalgamated into a primary school. The school are looking for some to work across Key Stage 1 and 2 working on a one to one basis with 2 pupils. In the morning you will be working with an ASC child in Year 1 and in the afternoons you will support a child in Year 3 with challenging behaviour.

Whether you are seeking assignments such as day to day staffing support, longer term positions or tuition support roles within across the primary age, we have a number of opportunities on offer within a range of different school environments that we are confident will be best suited to your own aspirations and preferences. Assisting pupils in the classroom is often a good starting point to develop your own teaching career, or you may find you prefer supporting pupils with special educational needs. Whatever your aspirations, Teaching Personnel are here to find you that perfect role.

In addition to a bespoke service tailored to your requirements, Teaching Personnel also work in partnership with a variety of locally recognised CPD providers within and around the Liverpool Archdiocese such as St Patricks Teaching School Salford and Leeds Trinity University, as well as national CPD providers such as NASEN, the National Autistic Society, Rush Miskin, Team Teach and Educare. As well as our own Catholic ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training on the ethos within Catholic school.

All candidates applying to jobs through Teaching Personnel must undertake or have undertaken an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.
