A warm and welcoming Roman Catholic School require an experienced teaching assistant to join their growing KS2 department as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have relevant school based experience and be confident in taking small groups of pupils for core subject intervention. As this is an important time of the child’s development, the chosen candidate will need to be pro-active and committed in supporting the class teacher to help develop the fine motor skills throughout the class.

School based experience is desirable as you will need to hit the ground running and be confident in taking small groups of differentiated ability pupils from day one, delivering Literacy, Numeracy and Phonics. Having an understanding of ‘Jolly Phonics’ would be advantageous in being successful in your application for this role.
