Year 3 teacher required in Lewisham!

Year 3/KS2 teacher needed for full-time work in a short-term role with potential to move to a permanent position if school is pleased.

Relevant experience is essential and ensure that you have all qualifications.

Pay is £120-150 based on experience.

One of our favourable schools rated 'Good' in the recent Ofsted inspection is looking for a confident qualified teacher for a year 3 class. There is potential for the short-term role to develop into a long-term role if you are successful for the role. The location is in Lewisham with excellent transport routes in and around central London including DLR, tube and buses.

Some of the skills they are looking for in a teacher is that they can deal with challenging behaviour and keep composed in difficult situations. Another important skill is that the teacher shares a passion of helping the pupils to achieve their full potential and to support those who require the extra support. A personal trait we look for also is that you can change and adapt to situations which may be generally quite difficult.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
