Year 3 Teacher

We are working with a school who are looking for a teacher with experience in Lower KS2 to take their Year 3 class starting in April and is until the end of the academic year. If you have KS2 experience and are looking for a full-time role from April onwards then see the details of the role below.

The role

The role is full-time with relevant PPA time allocated as per any class teacher role.

The class

The behaviour at the school is on the whole good, and the children are polite and conscientious. The school would like someone who can be firm but fair with these children and get them back into a school routine as soon as possible, as this is the most effective means of keeping them on task, so the school needs someone who is confident in their behaviour management of young pupils. There is a dedicated Teaching Assistant in the class who is available every morning to support and some afternoons during the week.

The school is a 2-form entry,which has an ofsted rating of GOOD. The school is well established and has a good and enthusiastic staff team. The school is very easily accessible by car or bus, and there are plenty of parking spaces available.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
