Job description

Job Title: Year 4 Teacher

Job Duties:

As a Year 4 Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons to students in line with the Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum. You will be expected to effectively manage classroom behaviour, provide individual support to students with special educational needs (SEN), and assess and mark students' work to track progress and provide feedback accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification.

Education:

A degree in Education or a related field is required.

Experience:

Prior experience teaching in a primary school setting, specifically with Year 4 students, is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour
  • Familiarity with the Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum
  • Experience in teaching students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in specific areas of education or behavioural management are desirable.

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary position located in Islington, Greater London, England. The role is expected to be full-time with a daily salary ranging from £135.00 to £175.00 on a PAYE basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
