Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join this supportive school from October 2025. This is a full time temporary contract, with the exciting potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive classroom culture and ensuring that pupils are motivated to reach their full potential. Collaboration with colleagues, parents and carers will also be essential to support pupils’ progress and wellbeing.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Can plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Is committed to raising attainment and inspiring young learners
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills
  • Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
