Full-Time Contract | October 2025 – July 2026
Wavertree, Liverpool | £150+ per day

A well-regarded Catholic primary school in Wavertree, Liverpool (graded Good by Ofsted) is seeking to appoint a full-time Year 3 Teacher for the full academic year, starting in October 2025.

The role has arisen as the permanent class teacher is due to begin maternity leave during the summer holidays. The school is committed to providing continuity for the pupils and therefore wishes to appoint a dedicated teacher to cover the class from October 2025 to July 2026. The Business Manager has noted that this appointment may extend beyond the initial contract, possibly in a different year group.

This recruitment is being managed through Teaching Personnel, with whom the Archdiocese of Liverpool holds a Service Level Agreement.

  • Recent experience of teaching within KS2
  • Evidence of improving pupil progress

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview, with the intention of appointing before October. However, the Headteacher is also open to meeting candidates during the summer holidays. The school remains open throughout the summer for sports clubs, and interviews can be conducted on site, adhering to appropriate distancing measures if required.
