Year 3 Newly Qualified Teacher - Salford (M7) primary school

  • Year 3 teacher needed for a maternity cover starting 15th April 2019

A school in Salford (M7) is looking for a NQT to work in a Year 3 class due to a staffing restructuring. This role will last until the end of the academic year with the possibility of carrying on into September. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to start their NQT induction year.

The Head teacher is looking for an experienced Newly Qualified to join a strong and thriving school community and fully immerse themselves in the whole school life. The ideal candidate will be expected to be fully committed to the role, taking on full time class room responsibilities including planning, marking, parents evening and continued assessment throughout the rest of the year.

In return, the school is able to offer continued support from a strong senior leadership team, PPA cover so you are able to plan and create resources for your lessons and opportunities for CPD opportunities for continued professional development.

The school is looking for a reception Teacher with/who is:

  • Understanding and knowledge of the curriculum and recent experience working in a Key Stage 2 environment
  • Enthusiastic and committed to high standards and has high expectations of behaviour
  • Enthusiastic about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context

Located in Salford (M7) with good transport links, this primary school is warm and welcoming and strives to make every child feel special so they can reach their potential. The school is larger than average with excellent facilities and has recently been graded GOOD by Ofsted.

The head teacher is looking to see CV's over the holidays and will be looking to see teachers for interview/lesson observations before starting on the 15th April.
