Role
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Fully Qualified or Newly Qualified Teacher for a full-time teaching post starting after the October half-term, starting on the 4th November 2019. The school is located in Leeds, LS7 just 10 minutes away from the Leeds City Centre. Public transport route are also easily accessible to the school. The school have recentley received 'Good' by Ofsted and are looking for a full-time Year 3 Teacher with excellent behaviour management skills.
Ideal candidate
The school are looking for a:
- Fully qualified or Newly qualified teacher who has previous teaching experience in Lower Key stage 2
- Experience using the schemes; Whiterose Maths and Talk 4 Writing
- Teacher who is availale full-time
- Teacher who is available from 4th November 2019
- Teacher who is potentially seeking a permanent role
- Teacher who can give 2 references and a 6 year career history
School
The school received ‘Good’ at its last Ofsted in 2019 and last year received above 64% in the SATs across the entire school. Numeracy is a subject which Lower KS2 struggle with and the school are looking for a teacher who is confident in delivering numeracy to Year 3 pupils. The school have roughly 319 pupils on roll and have a small amount of SEN pupils in the Year 3 class and a full-time teaching assistant.
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.
