Year 2 Teacher Required in Bolton

Are you an experienced KS21 teacher? Do you have experience working in a Year 2 Class? Do you have example of where you have been able to demonstrate progress? Are you passionate about making a difference in pupils learning? Could you support Catholic values and ethos?

If so, a smaller than average Catholic Primary School, located in the BL1 area of Bolton, is currently looking to appoint a Year 2 class teacher to work from Easter until the end of the Summer term, with the possibility of been extended for the right person . The school has previously been graded as Good by Ofsted and prides itself on how it is able to support both staff and pupils in order for both to reach their full potential. The class is in need of an experienced teacher who is able to set high expectations from the beginning as well as someone who is able to share their passion for learning and inspire pupils to share their enthusiasm.

In order to be successful you will need:

  • Have a strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum
  • Be able to demonstrate good practice, planning and delivering engaging lesson that meet the needs of each individual, inspiring pupils to work independently and strive to succeed.
  • Be able to implement effective behaviour management techniques and have a strong classroom presence.
  • Have a strong knowledge of phonics.
  • Be a strong communicator and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Have a real willingness to make a real difference in pupils learning journeys.
  • Be able to support the school's Catholic ethos.
