Year 2 Teacher required for summer term role

• Full time position with potential for permanent contract

We are looking to recruit an Y2 teacher for a full time role to begin at the end of April to run through until the end of the summer term at a Roman Catholic primary school in Darlington.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

-Experience of teaching in Y2 and preparing pupils for their Y2 SATs

-Excellent core subject knowledge at KS1 level

-The ability to strongly differentiate lessons to suit all needs

-Qualified Teacher status

The school is well known for providing a supportive and welcoming work place for new staff and can provide a full time TA for the duration of the role.

At the end of the summer term, there will be opportunity to be considered for a contract at the school from September 2018 onwards.

Due to the responsibilities attached to the position, there will be opportunity to earn up to £145 per day dependant on experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
