Year 2 Teacher - November Start Date - Long Term
If you are an NQT or a qualified teacher with experience working with children in KS1, then this may be the ideal role for you.
This Ofsted rated 'Good' client school is currently looking to bring a Year 2 teacher on board after the October Half Term. The role will be on a full time basis and will run until the end of the academic year with the possibility to become permanent.
The school is a 'three-form' entry and is based in Gorton (M12). The Year 2 class consists of 28 children and is supported by a general Teaching Assistant who has been with the school for the last 2 years and also a 1:1 Teaching Assistant who supports a pupil with learning difficulties. The school require a qualified teacher (NQT's are welcome to apply) who is able to take on a full time role with full teaching responsibilities. The individual should be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons to KS1 students. The Ideal Candidate will:
- Have QTS
- Have experience teaching KS1
- Have a real passion and desire for children and education
- Have a valid 'Child Only Workforce' DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
- Be flexible and adaptable
- Be able to work effectively in a team of teachers and support staff
