Year 2 Teacher

We are looking to recruit a full time Year 2 Teacher the the Summer Term at a 2 form entry Primary school based in Haverhill.

The schools is committed to supporting their pupils in getting the very best outcomes for each child. They hope their children obtain a love of learning that stays with them throughout life. The position is a maternity post, but for the Summer term only, as they have a permanent member of staff starting with them in September 2021. 

 

The role would include but may not be limited to:

  • Upholding the vision and values of the school at all times
  • Monitoring the progress and development of the pupils
  • Delivering energetic and well-structured lessons which will be engaging for all pupils
  • Maintain high levels of health and safety throughout the school
  • Setting up and maintaining your classroom to the highest standards
  • Attending/organising school extra curricular activities
  • Attending parents evening 
  • Behavioural/classroom management
All applicants for the position of Year 2 Teacher, must have the following requirements to be considered:
  •  Qualified Teacher Status
  •  Relevant teaching experience as a Year 2 teacher (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references)
  •  Relevant knowledge of the current national curriculum
  •  Eligibility to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
