Year 2 Teacher – Bolton

Teaching Personnel is currently working with a Roman Catholic primary school in the Little Lever (BL3), Bolton area looking for a Year 2 teacher to start as soon as possible. The role is covering a maternity leave and will carry on until March 2020 and could potentially carry on until the end of the academic year.

The Head teacher is looking for a confident and energetic newly or fully qualified teacher to join the school community. The school is known within the local community for delivering a vibrant and diverse curriculum to engage all students. The Head teacher is looking for a teacher who can come in and hit the ground running and experience in SAT’s prep is desirable.

This Roman Catholic Bolton school is smaller than average and has a number of pupils with additional needs throughout the school and has an outstanding provision to support pupils. There is an excellent senior leadership team in place to support all staff and pupils and pupils make excellent progress from the EYFS through to Year 2.

The school is looking for a Year 2 Teacher with/who is:

  • Understanding and knowledge of the curriculum and experience working in a Key Stage 1 environment
  • Enthusiastic and is committed to high standards, has high expectations of behaviour
  • Enthusiastic about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context
  • Newly and Fully qualified teachers are encouraged to apply for this role
