A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced full-time Year 2 Teacher seeking work in the Blackburn area looking at a start date of January 2022. 

The Head teacher of a junior school, who strive to open doors by providing opportunities which will inspire children to flourish, are looking for a Key stage 1 teacher with prior experience of preparing pupils for their end of KS1 SATs. With an OFSTED report of ‘Good’ over all this school has high expectations with regards to attitude, attainment and behaviour.

The school is a rapidly improving school which is led by a well organised Head Teacher. Behaviour of pupils is good, and they conduct themselves well throughout school. This School also shows the effective promotion of equal opportunities with the support offered to the students.

Essential Requirements:

-          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

-          Prior experience of teaching in Year 2 and of preparing pupils for their KS1 SATs

-          Organisation and commitment to your role within the school

-          Enthusiasm and a passion about education and learning

-          Creative and engaging yet purposeful approach to teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
