Year 2 Teacher - Hartlepool

A Key stage 2 teaching opportunity has arisen in a primary school situated in central Hartlepool. The children within this school make great progress due to the enthusiastic and motivational lessons currently being delivered. This has lead to the desire to employ a driven, confident teacher to assist within the Key Stage 1 sector. The school were recently marked 'Good' by Ofsted and pride themselves in their aim to provide the highest quality of education in order for their pupils to succeed. The position is based in a Year 2 classroom teaching 30 pupils that are eager to learn and work brilliantly in an engaging environment. There are good transportation links with a local bus route 2 minutes walk from the School and parking available on site.

The position begins on the 3rd of June and will continue until the end of the academic year with potential to extend if the candidate is suitable for a longer term role.

The role requires:

  • UK recognised QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Knowledge in regard to current and relevant Key Stage curriculum
  • The ability to plan engaging and creative lessons
  • Commitment to raising standards in teaching and learning
  • A passion to deliver the highest quality of education through a range of enrichment activities and creative teaching
  • Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
  • Eligible to work in the UK (Right to work in the UK documentation)
