Are you looking to work with a supportive and innovative team in a rapidly improved school. One of our lovely Sheffield schools requires a Pupil Support Officer a.s.a.p or September 2015. They are simply looking for someone who compliments their team, someone committed to providing excellence for our pupils who have specific needs. They require someone with the capacity to take a lead role in managing and delivery of pastoral support to pupils within the school. An in-depth understanding of all children’s needs would be essential to ensure our children are receiving the best pastoral care along with the ability to be able to determine and support all pupils with particular needs. The school’s latest inspection report is clear that we are a rapidly improving school with a good team. They have approximately 454 pupils on roll but manage to create a ‘family’ atmosphere despite being a larger than average split site primary school. We welcome applications from anyone who is committed to working closely with parents, governors, children and staff and someone who is keen to support them in providing a high quality education for everyone. The school is committed to safe guarding the welfare and safety of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS in line with Child Care Regulations 2009.
