Experienced teaching assistant? Worked within KS1/KS2 classes?

At Teaching Personnel we have actively worked with numerous schools based across the Ealing area, particularly looking for active staff to join our Ofsted rated 'good' school based in Greenford.

This is a full time position, working between school hours - 8:30 to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

The role?

Within the KS1 classes it is incredibly important to monitor the development of every student, being able to provide accurate feedback. This role will involve providing general classroom support and one to one/group support, accommodating to the needs of the students, staff and parents. Within the classroom you will be expected to work alongside the teacher, conducting group activities - monitoring those with a lower ability or with a variety of needs. In some cases you will be required to work one to one with students who need particular support on a day to day basis.

Alongside this being able to monitor and provide suitable feedback will be crucial, being able to contribute to the development of classroom activities and lesson plans - accommodating to their needs and ability.

The school?

The school based in Greenford has received 'good' feedback from Ofsted, being commended for their development and advances in their academic achievement in recent years. The school is easily accessible, with multiple train lines and bus services local to the school.

Ideal candidate?

  • Experienced with KS1 classes
  • Previous experience supporting students with special educational needs
  • A valid DBS or willing to apply for one
