Key Stage 1 Teacher

  • Oswaldtwistle (BB2)
  • Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8.15am-3.30pm)
  • £150 - £180 per day (after AWR is approached)
  • Start date: February 2024

Teaching personnel are working alongside a school in Oswaldtwistle that are looking for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their school on a long-term cover basis, with the potential to become permanent. The role is to start in February 2024 and would be until April 2025, with the potential to become permanent.

The role is a Key Stage 1 teaching position and the class is average sized with 28 pupils. You will be working with a mixture of abilities and you would have an experienced class Teaching Assistant, who will be able to provide support and work with groups of children. They would be in class on a full-time basis and would be allocated to leading small group interventions two afternoons a week.

The school are looking for a teacher with the following qualities:

To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • Relevant experience teaching within Key Stage 1 who can do prepare, plan and carry out assessments.
  • A confident approach, knows how to adapt well in different situations
  • PGCE (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
