Year 1 Class Teacher - Full time - Isleworth - September 2020

Are you looking for a new opportunity in September? Are you looking to work within an outstanding school to expand their KS1 department? 

At Teaching Personnel we are currently recruiting for a full time year 1 teacher to work within a large three form entry school. 

What is the school like?

As a large three form entry school they have created a community that focuses on development in all areas of life, not only in an educational capacity but socially, emotionally, physically and in a number of positive ways. They have invested time and money in to their extra curricular activities and sports opportunitites, teaching students the importance of being active and physically fit. They are looking for a confident member of staff to get stuck in to the school ethos, of providing support across a number of areas and teaching them the importance of personal development. With an additional ARP they have an inclusive attitude to all backgrounds, abilities and cultures. They frequently integrated the ARP within the mainsteam school, demonstrating to students the importance of being understanding. 

The ideal candidate is someone who is outgoing and passionate about teaching, looking to enrich the lives of all students they interact with. This vacancy will be working within a year 1 class, supporting their development with phonics and being confident in their phonics screenings. 

Is there an ideal candidate?

- Confident and experienced working with phonics and the KS1 curriculum

- Flexible working with students with a variety of backgrounds and abilities including special educational needs 

- Passionate about teaching

The school is located in Isleworth, a short walk from Syon Lane train station. It is connected by multiple train and bus services, including having a large onsite car park.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
